A journey far from civilization, in an oasis where white
tigers have found refuge.
All the attention of the felines is focused on the little
girl who is skipping rope without caring a bit about her surroundings. The
child's red dress evokes a contemporary Little Red Riding Hood. Tigers have
replaced the wolf in the forest: they look like big, harmless cats, and the
white of their coats may suggest the figures of protective angels. This staging
is also reminiscent of the jungle book.
Once again the imaginary at the service of the diverted
tale.
